MEET HALO PROFILES: AGI & SEB
Their everyday missions are shaped by movement and connection. They run to think, to feel, to reset. Guided by nature rather than numbers, they follow what the day gives — wind, terrain, energy. It’s not about pace or performance, but about staying connected: to the body, to the moment, to the world around them. Out there, everything slows down — and that’s where it all makes sense.
Agnes Christine Fischer , Model, Ultrarunner, Yogi and Climbing
“My name is Agi and I’m from Switzerland. I grew up in Bavaria, Germany, tiny little village called Eschlkam near the border of Czech Republic, but been living partially in CapeTown, South Africa since almost 20 years now and since 13 years also in Zurich, Switzerland. Doing the half half.”
“I run more by feel than by pace or heart rate – honestly I know nothing about all the stats. And quite frankly I also don’t care. I run because I love it, I want to have fun. I don’t want to put pressure on myself with all the stats. I run when I feel good… and that can be at 4:45 or at 6:30… every day is different. I love the moment just before sunrise when the world is quiet and the legs start moving. It reminds me that running isn’t about pace or distance — it’s about freedom.”
“On the days when motivation is low, I remind myself of the time when I couldn’t run at all. In 2018 I had a serious accident where I tore my ACL, PCL, and MCL. The doctors told me I would never run again because the injury was so complex. I now have three screws and three staples in my knee.
Coming back from that took a lot of time, patience, and belief. It wasn’t easy, but it showed me what I’m capable of. So when things feel heavy, I think back to those days lying in a hospital bed and how badly I wanted to run. And now that I can run again, I just run.”
Sebastian Simons, Runner, Model, Jiu Jitsu black belt, and Ocean fanatic
“I’m Sebastian, I’m from Cape Town, South Africa. I was born in the Netherlands but grew up in Cape Town and I’m still based here, although I spend a lot of time working overseas.”
“Movement is always part of my day. Whether it’s running, hiking, climbing, surfing, jiu jitsu or yoga, I try to start the day moving and ideally outside. When not working or pursuing outdoor adventures I spend a lot of time in my garden & working on projects around the house. Movement is how I reset. It clears my head and brings me back to what actually matters. It allows me to be me. It’s probably the closest thing I have to meditation. It’s amazing how even a small run can completely change ones mood & energy.”
“Running is probably the closest thing I have to meditation. It’s amazing how even a small run can completely change ones mood & energy. I love an early morning runs before the world wakes up. Watching the sun rise out of the sea and light up the mountain. It’s when everything feels still & life makes sense.
I don’t follow a strict structure. I stay consistent, but I listen to my body and adjust depending on how I feel and what nature offers. If there is swell I surf. If it’s windy and flat I run. If there are fish I go spear fishing. Running is part of the natural cycle that I let determine my day to day."
